Roxanne Perez posts an update, albeit an inconclusive one.
The NXT Women’s Champion has been out of action since she retained her title by defeating Meiko Satomura on the “Roadblock” edition of NXT on March 7. Perez collapsed after the match, and she was taken out of the arena on a stretcher. During the March 14 episode of NXT, a doctor noted that Perez needed more testing, and the timetable for her return was unclear.
On March 21, Perez thanked the fans for their support. She stated that she wished she had better news, but the doctors are no closer to finding out what happened at Roadblock. She noted that she was frustrated before she promised to come back stronger than ever. Perez also admitted that she didn’t know when that would be.
The NXT Women’s Championship will be defended in a Ladder Match at NXT Stand & Deliver, and it’s unclear whether Perez will be able to compete.
