Stacy Keibler To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2023

Stacy Keibler will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Jason Hahn of PEOPLE first reported the news and shared Keibler’s response.

“I never thought I would be in the Hall of Fame, to be honest,” Keibler said. “I was completely shocked when I got the call. I had tears in my eyes.”

Keibler noted that she found out two weeks ago, as a WWE representative called her, and she wasn’t expecting it.

In her interview with PEOPLE, Keibler reflected on her career and expressed her gratitude for the fans.

“The fans are the ones that made it possible,” Keibler said. “I owe so much to them for getting me to this point in my career. I’ve spent time just reflecting, and I feel so lucky to have this extraordinary time with the organization, the community, but most of all the fans,” she adds. “And it’s shaped my life, and there’s nothing else that can get me more excited in the exact same way as being live in front of the WWE fans. Their passion is contagious. So I’m just so excited.”

Keibler entered the wrestling business as a Nitro Girl for WCW before she took on an expanded role as an on-screen character. She first worked as Miss Hancock before she started using her real name. Once WWE acquired WCW, Keibler moved to WWE, and she was part of The Invasion storyline.

She later paired up with The Dudley Boyz, and she also had a run as Mr. McMahon’s assistant. Keibler was also aligned with Test, and she even had a run as Super Stacy as she paired up with The Hurricane and Rosey. Keibler left WWE in 2006, but she has made sporadic appearances over the years. Additionally, she has appeared in numerous television shows over the years, and she competed on Dancing with the Stars.

WWE previously announced that Rey Mysterio, The Great Muta and late comedian Andy Kaufman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The ceremony will be held at the  Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on March 31.
