Trinity: Performing On Broadway Was My Dream Before Wrestling, I’d Love To Accomplish That

IMPACT Wrestling’s Trinity recently returned to the wrestling world, but she has a dream of performing on a different type of stage as well.

Speaking to Stephanie Chase of Digital Spy, Trinity (formerly known as Naomi) revealed that if she never became a wrestler, she would have liked to perform on Broadway. In fact, Trinity explained, it’s something she’d still like to accomplish at some point.

“That was my dream before I became a wrestler and I would love to accomplish that at some point in my life,” Trinity said. “I’m exploring all of that and I’m taking classes and when I can. That’s the other amazing thing about IMPACT as well, it allows me to do that and explore other things and other projects while I can still continue to wrestle. I can get the best of both worlds.”

Of course, Trinity is used to performing in front of tens of thousands of people, so she believes that her experience in wrestling would help her on the stage. However, she acknowledged that doing Broadway would be a unique challenge.

“[Broadway] is a different kind of grueling,” Trinity said. “Wrestling is very physical but man, they put on two shows a day, and just the rehearsal schedule and their voices, it’s tough. It’s not easy what they do but I think I’ll be okay. I think I can deal with anything out there after wrestling for 14 years.”

As for her dream role, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion noted that she’d love be in Chicago if she could pick. She also stated that she’s a fan of “high dance shows,” like Moulin Rouge.

Chicago. I would like to be one of the Cell Block Tango girls,” “Trinity said. “I really like the high dance shows, like Moulin Rouge,” she added. “I go up there and see as many of them as I can just to stay inspired.”

Trinity made her IMPACT debut on the May 4 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, and she is set to wrestle for the company for the first time on the May 18 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
