Corey Graves: Bad Bunny Moved Heaven And Earth Just To Make WWE Backlash A Success

Corey Graves has high praise for what Bad Bunny brings to WWE.

WWE RAW commentator Corey Graves recently sat down with MLB Network to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about Bad Bunny’s recent match at WWE Backlash, Graves put the musician over and described his entrance as somewhere between WrestleMania and Coachella.

“It’s funny because I had this conversation on my podcast with Kevin Patrick a few weeks back; no matter what your lot in life is, you’re always interested in something different,” Corey Graves said. You got Bad Bunny, who is arguably the biggest star in music right now. He’s the most streamed artist on the globe.

“And I made that comparison just for scale for a lot of people in America who may not realize how big globally Bad Bunny truly is, but the WWE Universe got to experience and see it firsthand it Backlash a week ago in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

“I’ve been blessed enough to be part of multiple WrestleManias and so many incredible moments. But when Bad Bunny made his entrance, it was somewhere in between WrestleMania and Coachella, all under one roof. It was an energy like I had never felt in my life, and to have this sold out arena scream singing every word of Bad Bunny’s entrance music, and you got to give credit to the guy because he could have been a celebrity who showed up, smiled waved to the camera promoted whatever he wanted to promote and moved on.

“But Bunny put in the work. He took this seriously. He had a ring, I think, flown to Puerto Rico so he could train. I know he was traveling and moving heaven and earth just to make this a success. And I cannot speak highly enough of Bad Bunny and the work and the effort he put in, and he delivered. It wasn’t just oh, he got through that. He excelled, he and Damian Priest both because it takes two to tango; they made one of the most memorable matches in recent WWE history.”
