AEW Collision Premiere Draws Over 800,000 Viewers

The viewership information for the premiere of AEW Collision is now available.

AEW’s third weekly television show, AEW Collision, premiered on Saturday, June 17. The show featured the highly anticipated return of CM Punk.

Wrestlenomics reports that 816,000 viewers watched the show, and Collision scored a 0.33 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. AEW Collision ranked #3 in the 18 to 49 demographic among cable originals. Per Showbuzz Daily, UFC Fight Night and the College World Series both ranked ahead of Collision.

Saturday’s show was headlined by CM Punk’s return, as he teamed up with FTR to face Samoa Joe, Jay White, and Juice Robinson. Plus, Andrade El Idolo faced Buddy Matthews, Miro competed, and Wardlow defended the TNT Championship against Luchasaurus. Elsewhere on the show, Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue clashed with Toni Storm and Ruby Soho.

For comparison, the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite drew 832,000 viewers and a 0.30 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
