KENTA Seemingly Comments On Not Being Part Of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

KENTA comments on missing AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Fightful Select previously reported that a match between CM Punk and KENTA had been internally discussed for the pay-per-view. The NJPW star then responded to the report by telling AEW CEO Tony Khan to give him the bag. He also made it clear that he was frustrated that the match was being planned without his permission, and he later said the match was never going to happen.

Punk wound up facing Satoshi Kojima at the pay-per-view. The next day, KENTA seemingly shared his thoughts on the situation by saying, “Awesome PPV last night. But I’m not regret even if doors never gonna open for me.” He also plugged his matches at NJPW STRONG Independence Day.

At the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door media call, Khan stated that he couldn’t comment on the KENTA rumors.
