Ilja Dragunov is next in line for a NXT Championship match.
During the July 11 episode of WWE NXT, Bron Breakker battled Ilja Dragunov to determine a new number one contender for the NXT title.
The two fought in a lengthy, physical battle as they continued to counter each other’s power moves. In the end, though, Dragunov delivered one final headbutt to Breakker to secure the three-count.
As a result, Dragunov will now challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT title at NXT Great American Bash on July 30.
