Jonathan Gresham feels that he may have been performing outside of where he feels at ease since joining IMPACT Wrestling.
Jonathan Gresham used to be the face of pure wrestling in ROH. Gresham, however, departed Ring of Honor after ROH Death Before Dishonor 2022, joining IMPACT Wrestling in December 2022. During his time in IMPACT, “The Octopus” has primarily worked in the X-Division.
Gresham criticized the “no limits” nature of IMPACT’s X-Division in a sit-down interview with Tom Hannifan on July 20, 2023, explaining that he once stood for the return of Pure Rules in ROH. Gresham indicated that his environment no longer fit his style before abruptly leaving, ending the interview.
It is unclear what this means for the future of Jonathan Gresham in IMPACT Wrestling.
