Big E wants to see Xavier Woods get a world title run.
The New Day is one of the top stables in WWE history. Big E and Kofi Kingston have both won the WWE Championship, but Xavier Woods has yet to win a singles title.
Big E was asked to share his thoughts on Xavier Woods potentially winning the WWE Championship during a new interview with Steve Fall for Ten Count Media.
“That’s something that, obviously, he’s so talented and something that we’ve been pushing for. He is a guy who, people know how talented he is, but I still feel like in many ways he’s one of the most underrated guys on the roster,” Big E said. “He’s still so incredible and so worthy and deserving. I always want the best things for both of partners.
“I’d love to see him get a real run at a singles title. I know he’s been talking about the IC Title as of late, and going from there. I’d love to see him be a World Champion. He’s deserving.”
Xavier Woods and Kingston returned to WWE on the August 7 episode of WWE RAW, where they defeated the Viking Raiders.
It’s Just Chemistry
In a previous interview, Kofi Kingston discussed his friendship with Xavier Woods and Big E. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Kingston highlighted their connection.
“It’s just the chemistry, man, it’s the chemistry. It’s a very real brotherhood. I’m getting emotional even like thinking about how much love I have for Woods and E. We talk probably at least a couple times a month. We’ll sit there and just start gushing just how much we appreciate each other on text. It’s a very real bond. I feel like if you are lucky enough one person that you connect with, that you bond with, that you identify with, you’re lucky. It’s very unique.
