Orange Cassidy: I Couldn’t Make Jon Moxley Bleed, I Don’t Know What That Says About Me

Orange Cassidy comments on Jon Moxley‘s lack of blood at AEW All Out.

At AEW All Out, Moxley beat Cassidy to win the AEW International Championship. Fans have come to expect Moxley to bleed profusely in many of his matches. But at AEW All Out, while Cassidy was a bloody mess by the end of his match with Moxley, “The Purveyor of Violence” was not.

In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Cassidy noted that he tried to make Moxley bleed, but he just couldn’t do it.

“It wasn’t for lack of trying,” said Cassidy. “But for a guy who bleeds as much as Jon, I couldn’t get him to. I don’t know what that says about me.”

Orange Cassidy Praises Jon Moxley

Orange Cassidy continued by speaking highly of Moxley. He called Moxley the guy who has put AEW on his shoulders when the company has needed him the most.

“That’s the guy who put AEW on his shoulders when we needed carrying,” said Cassidy. “The respect I have for Jon Moxley is immense. He leads by example, and his presence and actions make us better professional wrestlers and better people. And yes, when you’re in a ring with him, you’re going to bleed.”

Moxley will defend the AEW International Championship against AR Fox on the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Wednesday.
