John Cena Set To Face Jimmy Uso And Solo Sikoa At WWE Fastlane

John Cena will compete at WWE Fastlane on October 7.

16-time world champion John Cena’s return continued on the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown. He opened the show and made it clear that he wanted to wrestle. After Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa laid him out the previous week, he stated that he wanted to fight The Bloodline. Cena named AJ Styles as his partner, and “The Phenomenal One” agreed to join forces with him.

However, Uso and Sikoa refused to have the match on Friday. WWE Fastlane was named as the time and place, but the Bloodline duo attacked Styles backstage before the completion of the contract signing. Styles was stretchered to the back and driven away in an ambulance.

John Cena then tried to fight Uso and Sikoa, but they ganged up on him and left him lying with a brutal attack.

John Cena and Uso both signed the contract for WWE Fastlane. As of this writing, Cena does not have a partner for WWE Fastlane.

Cena previously returned to the ring at WWE Superstar Spectacle on September 8; the event was not televised. He last competed on WWE programming at WrestleMania 39 in April. There, Cena lost to then-WWE United States Champion Austin Theory.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available, and we will have coverage of WWE Fastlane as it airs.
