John Cena And LA Knight To Team Up At WWE Fastlane

John Cena has found a partner for WWE Fastlane.

On the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, John Cena challenged Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa to face him at WWE Fastlane. AJ Styles agreed to team up with him, but Uso and Sikoa took him out with a brutal attack backstage. Cena had already signed the contract, so he was left without a partner.

Cena came to the ring on the September 29 episode of WWE SmackDown and vowed to face Sikoa and Uso on his own if he had to. When Sikoa and Uso confronted him, he tried to fight them off.

Cena was outnumbered, and the duo ganged up on him until LA Knight made the save. Knight helped Cena clear the ring, and the self-proclaimed megastar signed the contract. As a result, he will be Cena’s partner at WWE Fastlane.

Sean Ross Sap of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Knight was set to be part of the main event segment with Cena on September 22, but he was pulled from the show due to a positive COVID test.

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE Fastlane as it airs on October 7.
