Lyra Valkyria has earned a future NXT Women’s Championship match.
The October 3 episode of WWE NXT kicked off with Lyra Valkyria, Indi Hartwell, and Roxanne Perez pleading their cases to Becky Lynch for why they should be next in line for a shot at the NXT Women’s title. Lynch then took it upon herself to book the three in a triple threat contender’s match.
Later in the night, Perez nearly had it won before Kiana James interfered and pulled her out of the ring. After that, Valkyria pinned Hartwell to win.
Valkyria will now challenge Lynch for the NXT Women’s title during the first night of NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24 — assuming Lynch retains against Tegan Nox on the October 9 episode of RAW.
