AND NEW! Dominik Mysterio is once again the NXT North American Champion.
Mysterio defeated Trick Williams for the title in the main event of Tuesday’s episode of NXT. With the win, Dominik is now a two-time North American Champion. Perhaps more importantly, Dominik is back in good standing with Rhea Ripley.
Mami informed Dominik that she got him a rematch on Tuesday’s show, but warned that he shouldn’t come home if he didn’t come home with the gold.
Dominik ended up getting the job done, although he had a little help from The Judgment Day. Finn Balor, Damien Priest and Ripley all made their presence felt, and JD McDonagh made an appearance too. Priest ended up hitting Williams with the title, and Dominik got the pinfall victory after he hit a frog splash.
If you’re wondering where Carmelo Hayes was during all of this, Trick Williams turned down Melo’s offer to be in his corner earlier in the night. Perhaps now he’s regretting that decision…

As soon as the bell rings, Dominik is all over Williams. Williams runs over Dominik with a shoulder block. Dropkick by Williams. Pop up uppercut by Williams. Dominik rolls out of the ring to confer with Mami. After the break, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest walk to ringside. Dominik takes control after a distraction from Ripley. Dominik works over Williams. Williams counters the three amigos with a leaping neckbreaker. The crowd is going nuts for Williams. Williams fires up and lands a flurry of strikes.
Superkick by Dominik. Spinning slam by Williams. Rolling Uranage by Williams. Dominik kicks out. Ripley slides her title into the ring. Dominik DDTs Williams on the championship. Williams kicks out! 619 by Dominik. Dominik goes up top for a frog splash. Williams gets his knees up. Running knee by Williams. JD McDonagh hits the ring and tries to attack Williams. Williams knees McDonagh in the face. Priest hits Williams in the head with the championship. Dominik lands a frog splash for the win.
