PCO Inks New Contract With IMPACT/TNA Wrestling

PCO is here to stay in IMPACT/TNA Wrestling.

PCO recently noted his intention to wrestle for a minimum of five more years. IMPACT Wrestling has now confirmed that at least part of PCO’s remaining journey will take place under their umbrella.

Per IMPACT‘s press release, PCO will be staying with the company through their upcoming revamp. The French-Canadian Frankenstein has inked a new deal with them. The exact details of his contract are currently unknown. However, PCO’s re-signing makes him the first official signing of the new era of TNA Wrestling.

Following the conclusion of Bound For Glory on Saturday, IMPACT revealed plans to rebrand themselves into the promotion’s former name of TNA Wrestling. This name change will formally go into effect on January 13, 2024, in correspondence with the Hard To Kill pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Nevada. Recent reports indicate that new championships will also soon be introduced to reflect the TNA logo.

PCO was initially set to depart from IMPACT Wrestling at the end of the month. But after President Scott D’Amore made him a tempting offer, PCO was inclined to stay.

Update: Haus of Wrestling is reporting PCO’s new contract will run until December 31, 2024. It was noted that PCO elected to re-sign with TNA because some of “the energy around the TNA re-brand, along with other requests being met”, including the door being open for PCO’s manager, D Destro to appear on major shows.

PCO comments

“I really wanted to be part of the new era of TNA Wrestling and Scott D’Amore made me an offer I could not refuse,” PCO said.

The 55-year-old performer returned to IMPACT Wrestling at the 2022 Hard To Kill event, aligning himself with the faction that was later known as Honor No More. Most recently, he defeated Steve Maclin, Rhino, and Moose in a four-person Monster’s Ball match at Bound For Glory 2023.
