MLW Fusion Results – November 2, 2023
This week’s episode of MLW Fusion kicked off with a video package showcasing everything The Calling have accomplished in Major League Wrestling since their arrival earlier this year.
MSL of the World Titan Federation announces that the winner of the MLW World Heavyweight Title match between Alex Kane and Jacob Fatu will defend the title against Matt Cardona at MLW One Shot on December 7.
Mance Warner defeated Talon
- Mance Warner hits a running knee to Talon’s head to score the quick pinfall victory.
MLW announces that they have extended Tony Deppen’s suspension.
MSL gifts Matt Cardona a new BMW. Cardona makes out with the hood in celebration of the gift.
Jacob Fatu’s match with Mr. Thomas is canceled because Thomas was attacked by someone backstage before the match could take place.
Jacob Fatu is backstage and isn’t dressed to compete. Fatu talks about his upcoming title match with Alex Kane at Fightland. Faut says he’s been focused on getting himself right and prepared for this match with Kane.
When asked about Salina del le Renta making the title match, Fatu admits he doesn’t trust her. MSL interrupts before Fatu can comment on Cardona and hypes up the title match at One Shot. MSL says he has a photo shoot to get to with Cardona’s new car, and Fatu seems interested.
Matt Cardona is backstage. Cardona shouts out MSL for bringing him to Major League Wrestling. Cardona says Alex Kane and Jacob Fatu are great, but they aren’t him. The Indy God says no one will stop him from being the new MLW World Heavyweight Champion at One Shot.
Another surprising debut victory on MLW Fusion
Brett Ryan Gosselin defeated J Boujii (w/ O’Shay Edwards)
- Brett Ryan Gosselin grabbed the ropes while executing a rollup pin on J Boujii to cheat his way to victory.
Love, Doug is outside the 2300 Arena waiting for B3CCA to arrive. Doug gets slapped by Minoru Suzuki for his troubles.
MSL pays off some jabroni to tell Alex Kane that Jacob Fatu attacked Mr. Thomas in the parking lot earlier in the show.
It’s announced that MLW World Women’s Featherweight Champion Janai Kai is in action next week.
Alex Kane and Jacob Fatu are seen arguing backstage, but they are interrupted by some guy with a cell phone who says he has footage of Matt Cardona taking out Mr. Thomas. We never see the footage.
The Calling and Second Gear Crew in a tables match ends in a no-contest
- The finish saw the referee too dumb to acknowledge who went through the table first and called the match a draw instead.
Second Gear Crew and The Calling brawl. The Second Gear Crew comes out on top and challenges The Calling to a ladder match.
Alex Kane confronts Matt Cardona in the parking lot, and Jacob Faut steals his car as MLW Fusion goes off the air.
