Kenny Omega And Chris Jericho vs. The Young Bucks Set For AEW Full Gear

A big tag team match has been added to AEW Full Gear.

During the November 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks came face-to-face with Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega during a backstage interview with Renee Paquette. The exchange led to a challenge being laid out for a tag team match on November 18.

The stipulation for the bout is that if The Young Bucks win, Golden Jets must disband. If Omega and Jericho win, they will earn The Young Bucks’ future AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity.

Shida vs. Storm made official

Additionally, the AEW Women’s World Championship match at Full Gear has been made official.

Tony Schiavone hosted a sit-down interview with both “Timeless” Toni Storm and AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. The segment officially confirmed that Storm will challenge Shida on November 18.

Previously, AEW announced that Storm would have a “Hollywood Homecoming” at the pay-per-view in Los Angeles, but it was not made clear that she would challenge Shida until after Shida recently defended against the likes of Ruby Soho, Abadon, and Willow Nightingale.

Shida previously defeated Storm on the 200th episode of Dynamite in August to capture her second AEW Women’s World title. Since then, Storm has gone through a character transformation on her journey back to the gold.

Below is the updated lineup for Full Gear:

  • AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Jay White
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Toni Storm
  • AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Jon Moxley
  • Sting, Darby Allin & Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, & Nick Wayne
  • “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland
  • The Young Bucks vs. Golden Jets (Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho)
  • ROH World Tag Team Championship: MJF & TBA (c) vs. The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) (Zero Hour)

WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Full Gear as it airs on November 18.
