Updated AEW Continental Classic Standings

The AEW Continental Classic is underway.

AEW kicked off the Continental Classic, a round-robin tournament that will crown a Triple Crown Champion, on the November 22 episode of AEW Dynamite. The tournament winner will hold the ROH World Championship, the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship, and the AEW Continental Championship.

The Gold League action kicked off on the November 22 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, and Jay White scored three points each by defeating Mark Briscoe, Kay Lethal, and RUSH.

The November 25 episode of AEW Collision also saw the start of Blue League matches. Claudio Castagnoli defeated Daniel Garcia in the opening Blue match with a Ricola Bomb. Brody King pinned Eddie Kingston after hitting Dante’s Inferno to earn three points.

Gold League action continued on the November 29 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jon Moxley beat Jay Lethal with the Rear-Naked Choke, and RUSH defeated Mark Briscoe with the Bull’s Horns. In the main event, Swerve Strickland rolled up Jay White to earn a hard-fought win.

On the December 2 episode of AEW Collision, Brody King scored a big win in Blue League action by defeating Claudio Castagnoli. Later in the show, Andrade El Idolo defeated Daniel Garcia to get on the scoreboard. In the main event, Bryan Danielson beat Eddie Kingston in a thrilling match.

AEW Continental Classic Continues

The December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite featured three AEW Continental Classic matches. Jon First, Moxley beat RUSH in a hard-fought match. Later in the show, Swerve Strickland and Jay White beat Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal, respectively, to mathematically eliminate them from the tournament.

The December 8 episode of AEW Rampage featured one tournament match; Bryan Danielson defeated Daniel Garcia in the main event.

Blue League action continued on the December 9 episode of AEW Collision. Andrade El Idolo scored a major win against Bryan Danielson, and Eddie Kingston picked up his first tournament win by defeating Claudio Castagnoli.

Continental Classic Heats Up At Winter Is Coming

The AEW Continental Classic ramped up on the December 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, which was the “Winter is Coming” special. Andrade El Idolo beat Brody King in Blue League action, and Jay White defeated Mark Briscoe. Plus, RUSH defeated Jay Lethal. In the main event, Jon Moxley scored a huge win when he defeated Swerve Strickland.

Thrilling Finish To Gold League Action

The December 20 episode of AEW Dynamite featured three tournament matches. Swerve Strickland beat RUSH to tie for first place. Later in the show, Mark Briscoe scored his first win by defeating Jay Lethal. In the main event, Jay White beat Jon Moxley to force a three-way tie for first place. White, Moxley, and Strickland will clash in the Gild League finals on December 27.
