Zack Sabre Jr. To Face Hiroshi Tanahashi In Tag Match At NOAH The New Year 2024

Two of NJPW’s top stars will compete at NOAH The New Year 2024.

Pro Wrestling NOAH announced multiple bouts for the January 2 show. NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr. and Hiroshi Tanahashi will be on opposite sides of a tag team match ahead of their clash at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18. Sabre Jr. will join forces with Yoshinari Ogawa, while Tanahashi will pair up with HAYATA.

Sabre Jr. previously held the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship twice with Ogawa.

The updated lineup is as follows:

  • GHC Heavyweight Championship: Kenoh (c) vs. Manabu Soya
  • GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship: Daga (c) vs. Eita
  • Wrestling Symphony: Zack Sabre Jr. & Yoshinari Ogawa vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & HAYATA
  • GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf (c) vs.YO-HEY & Tadasuke vs. Alejandro & Ninja Mack
