AEW Rampage Results (12/1/23): Eight-Man Tag, Sting And Ric Flair, More

All Elite Wrestling delivered an action-packed show with the December 1 episode of AEW Rampage.

Tonight, we’ll see an 8-man tag team match that will see Orange Cassidy, Hook, Danhausen, and Trent Beretta take on Daddy Magic, Cool Hand Ang, and the Dark Order.

Elsewhere in the night, a trios match between Saraya, Ruby Soho & Anna Jay and Hikaru Shida, Skye Blue, and Kris Statlander will take place. Another trios match will see Brian Cage and The Workhorsemen take on Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander, and El Hijo del Vikingo.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: HOOK, Danhausen, Trent Beretta & Orange Cassidy defeat Daddy Magic, Dark Order & Angelo Parker via pinfall

In an opening 8-man tag team match, HOOK and co. took care of business in Danhausen’s return. Things came to an end for the match when Daddy Magic got rolled up by Danhausen as he was trying to break Parker out of a submission hold by HOOK.

Backstage segment: Saraya

Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Anna Jay were interviewed backstage, where Saraya stopped Soho from interacting with Angelo Parker, who had just made his way backstage following his match.

In-ring segment: Sting & Ric Flair

In the ring, Sting and Ric Flair spoke with Tony Schiavone. Sting brought up some of his favorite memories of wrestling with Lex Luger and Bam Bam Bigelow, while Flair brought up the likes of Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, and Sting as special people he’s gotten to work with over his career.

Flair then said that he’s been with Sting since 1988, and he’ll stay with him until Sting is done. The pair then shook hands as the crowd roared.

Backstage segment: Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, and Skye Blue

In the back, the trio of women argued for a bit when Statlander said she wasn’t even pinned in her TBS Championship loss. This upset Blue, and Shida tried to get them all back together as the segment ended.

Match 2: Don Callis Family defeats three local talent via pinfall

This was a pretty quick match. The Don Callis Family dominated and then proceeded to mock Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho after the match, saying that The Golden Jets had nowhere to hide.

Match 3: Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, and Skye Blue defeat Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Anna Jay via pinfall

Throughout the match, Statlander and Blue kept passive-aggressively tagging each other in, with the pair still obviously angry over their backstage segment. In the end, though, things worked out for them. Ruby Soho accidentally kicked Anna Jay, allowing Blue to hit the Code Blue on Soho for the pin and win.

After the match, Anna and Ruby yelled at one another, and Saraya had to step in and cool things down.

Match 4: El Hijo del Vikingo, Komander, and Penta El Zero Miedo defeat Brian Cage & the WorkHorsemen via pinfall

The final match of the night saw Vikingo and his teammates come out on top. Things came to an end after Cage and Anthony Henry got into it a little bit after Henry accidentally kicked Cage. Cage then kicked Henry back and promptly left the ring, bailing on the match.

Penta was quick to capitalize, hitting the Fear Factor on Henry which then allowed Vikingo to hit the 630 splash on him for the win.
