Randy Orton has been away from WWE television ever since WrestleMania 42, and fans have been wondering when he might show up again.
During night one of WrestleMania 42, Cody Rhodes defeated Orton to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. But the story didn’t end once the bell rang. Moments later, Orton snapped and delivered a vicious punt kick to Rhodes, leaving the champion with a badly swollen eye after the show.
At the time, many expected WWE to carry that rivalry forward. It seemed like the obvious direction. Instead, Rhodes quickly moved into a new program with Gunther, while Orton quietly disappeared from television.

As the weeks went by, reports started making the rounds online about a possible back injury. However, Orton didn’t appear too concerned by any of it. He later addressed the rumors on social media and seemed to poke fun at the situation.
While Orton has remained absent from WWE programming for the past several months, a small update on him recently surfaced. He was recently spotted attending his daughter’s graduation ceremony.
