Matt Hardy Believes CM Punk Will Be On His Best Behavior In WWE

Matt Hardy expects smooth sailing for CM Punk‘s WWE return run.

On the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the All Elite Wrestling star spoke on CM Punk’s WWE return and said he believes the former AEW World Champion will be on his best behavior there.

“You can’t hate that move by WWE, for sure,” Matt Hardy said. “It was a shocking move. Obviously, it was gonna get people talking. It’s business, and it’s good for business. I would imagine it’s an environment where I think Phil would be on his best behavior there. If that makes him happy, and he’s good with that, then I’m fine with that too. I’m cool with that. It is what it is.” [H/T: Fightful]

CM Punk appeared on WWE SmackDown last night to cut his second promo since being back with the company. The Straight Edge Superstar has teased potentially appearing at NXT Deadline tonight and will be at WWE RAW on Monday to sign with a brand and end his free agency.

Despite past issues with the company, things seem to be smooth sailing between Punk and WWE right now.
