Report: Seth Rollins Pulled From Upcoming WWE Live Events Due To Injury

Seth Rollins has reportedly been pulled from upcoming events in the aftermath of an apparent injury.

On the January 15 episode of WWE RAW, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defeated Jinder Mahal to retain the title. Rollins could be seen limping after the match. Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch then reported that he suffered a legitimate leg injury.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Seth Rollins has been pulled from the WWE live events this weekend due to the injury. Randy Orton is being advertised instead of Rollins. As of this writing, there is no word on the severity or the exact nature of the injury.

Additionally, WWE is not advertising Rollins for upcoming episodes of WWE RAW. He is not included in the group of advertised superstars for the upcoming shows.

Update: Update: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources, the initial hope backstage was that Rollins had not suffered an ACL injury. Sapp writes that Rollins personally did not think that was the case on Monday.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
