Chelsea Green Reminds Us That She Made History At The 2023 Royal Rumble

Chelsea Green seems to be taking everything positively.

It is safe to say that 2023 was one of the most successful years for Chelsea Green as a WWE Superstar. She captured the Women’s Tag Team Titles and held them with two different partners. Green was the champion for over 100 days. Before last year, Green’s other run in WWE was marred by unfortunate injuries.

Last year, Green made her return to the Stamford-based promotion at the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match. The only sad thing is that she didn’t last long. As soon as she entered the ring, Rhea Ripley chucked her right out. Thus recording the shortest time of five seconds in a Women’s Rumble match.

Green doesn’t see it as a drawback but rather seems to see it as a ‘History-Making’ moment. The Hot Mess took to Twitter to share that she made history at the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

“I MADE HISTORY,” Chelsea Green tweeted.

Chelsea Green is excited to finally travel the world as a WWE Superstar

WWE is conducting several International Premium Live Events. During an interview with Spencer Love of Love Wrestling, Chelsea Green revealed that she was unable to take part in last year’s Money In the Bank PLE in London as she was landlocked. But this year, she can travel all around the world. Thus, she’s looking forward to competing at Elimination Chamber in Perth and all the other PLEs.

“I think what I’m most excited for is to attempt to qualify for Money in the Bank. Last year, unfortunately, I was landlocked so I wasn’t able to get out of the country. So being in Money in the Bank would be amazing but being in Elimination Chamber in Australia would also be really amazing. Being able to leave the country this year, travel with WWE, meet my fans, and get back to Australia because I used to live there….

“I mean honestly, I go could on because I’m so excited that we’re bringing WWE to Paris and to parts of Germany. It’s just a really exciting year. I think this year will be the year that my suitcase is permanently packed. In theory, I’m not supposed to leave still but I ended up getting an exemption to be able to leave the country for work. But I was landlocked for over a year,” Chelsea Green said. [H/T POST Wrestling]
