Nia Jax isn’t done with Becky Lynch yet.
Nia Jax memorably broke Becky Lynch’s nose in 2018, and the accident led to the creation of Lynch’s popular “The Man” character that took her to new heights. However, despite their heated rivalry, they did not clash in a singles match during Jax’s first WWE run. WWE released her, and she later returned in September 2023. Jax and Lynch reignited their feud at the end of the year, and Jax defeated the former champion at WWE RAW: Day One.
Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Nix Jax was asked about getting the chance to continue her feud with Lynch. Fishman referenced Cody Rhodes finishing the story and noted that Jax was getting the chance to do the same.
“Yeah Cody. I’m going to finish my story,” Nia Jax said. “It’s incredible though. We are able to continue this story that started five years ago. We remind the audience and get them invested again. I felt the strength of that moment. I realize it changed the course of history.
“I am so happy we had that match on Raw recently, and we’re still continuing to tell the story. We’re not finished, Becky. She is one of the best WWE superstars in all of history, so I’m honored to be able to work with her. I’m honored to have been able to contribute to the creation of “The Man.”
Both Nia Jax and Becky Lynch will both compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble on Saturday.
