Snooki, otherwise known by her real name, Nicole Polizzi, is a popular reality television star. She was known for her run on MTV’s Jersey Shore franchises. When it comes to her contribution to professional wrestling, she has competed in one match. That was at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. She also won a Slammy Award in 2011.
Snooki’s first appearance was on an episode of Monday Night Raw when she got involved in a segment involving John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler, and Vickie Guerrero. She also got into a brawl with Layla and Michelle McCool. This led to her match at WrestleMania 27. She teamed with John Morrison and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
Recently, Mariah May and Deonna Purrazzo got into a Twitter spat. It all began when Purrazzo asked the self-proclaimed Sexy Dynamite Princess to stay on AEW Collision. During their exchange, May called Purrazzo ‘Snooki’.
The Virtuosa did not seem to get offended by being referred to as the Jersey Shore star. Purrazzo claimed she was proud of being referred to as Snooki and that it was never an insult.
“Entrepreneur, TV Star, Momma, Ride or die bff… OH & has wrestling experience… I LOVE @snooki! This wasn’t the insult you thought it was,” Deonna Purrazzo tweeted.
May responded by demanding that she would like to take on the tag team of Purrazzo and Snooki.
“ite, since you love her so much call her up… Deonna & Snooki vs Mariah & Toni @AEW,” Mariah May tweeted.
A fan wasn’t happy about this and claimed he never wanted to see Snooki return. The Jersey Shore star hinted at wanting to return to the wrestling ring.
“I beg to differ, Josh,” Snooki tweeted.
