Drew McIntyre ruined Cody Rhodes‘ celebratory mood at the end of WWE RAW.
Cody Rhodes headlined the February 5 episode of WWE RAW, as he battled Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope match, a stipulation that meant a lot to Cody’s father, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. Cody’s clash with Nakamura marked the first “serious” street fight on WWE programming since 2007, as noted by Michael Cole.
Despite getting misted, Rhodes put Nakamura away with a second Crossrhodes. Drew McIntyre then cut Cody’s celebration short by attacking him from behind and ultimately flooring him with a Claymore.
