Bronson Reed Feels Like He Let People Down By Not Qualifying For Elimination Chamber

Last night on Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley qualified for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. The All Mighty did so by defeating former WWE NXT North American Champion ‘Big’ Bronson Reed.

Following the tough loss, the former NXT North American Champion was interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Bronson Reed was unhappy that his dream of being able to compete at a WWE Premium Live Event in his home country was shattered.

“Super disappointed. You know, this is what I dreamed about my whole life. Being able to be on a WWE PLE in my home country of Australia. And I feel like I have let down my family, I’ve let down the fans and I’ve let down all of Australia. Couldn’t get the job done tonight.”

“I don’t know where I go. You know, I planned 2024 to be a big year for ‘Big’ Bronson Reed. And it’s not going to plan. So, I’m just at my wit’s end. And eventually, I’m going to snap,” ‘Big’ Bronson Reed said.

Bronson Reed wants a rubber match against Kazuchika Okada

Recently, WrestleZone’s own Bill Pritchard got the opportunity to interview the Australian star. During the interview, Reed mentioned that he wants to have a rematch against former NJPW World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.

“I feel like the first time I stepped in the ring with him, I don’t think anyone expected me to beat him. And not only did I beat him, but I beat him in pretty exciting fashion. We had that second match, and there was this electricity in the air in Japan, seeing me and Okada wrestle. There’s just something about it that works,” Reed said.

“I always knew there was some point in our careers that we meet again. Whether it was here in WWE or whether it was me going back to New Japan Pro-Wrestling. I know that the landscape of professional wrestling is always changing, evolving, people working together. I always thought that was a possibility. Now more than ever, it’s a possibility,” he added. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but if the Rainmaker does decide to come to WWE, I want the rubber match for sure.”

Do you think Reed’s dream of competing in an Australian WWE PLE would come to fruition?
