The Meat Madness match has been put in the freezer for the time being.
In a tweet on February 28, Tony Khan announced that he was “temporarily freezing” the Meat Madness match at AEW Revolution. He noted that multiple wrestlers slated to be involved were out injured and shelved by doctors. Khan wrote that because Meat Madness was on ice, Revolution would instead feature an All-Star Scramble match.
Additional details were not provided in the announcement.
Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Lance Archer had been announced for the Meat Madness match.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available, and we will have coverage of AEW Revolution as it airs on March 3.
