Matt Cardona faced Emmy-award-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser at Wrestling REVOLVER Ready or Not on March 16.
Cardona and Hauser have been feuding for months, and their rivalry came to a head on Saturday. Steph De Lander and Bully Ray got involved in the match, and Ray helped Hauser score the win as he slammed Cardona through a flaming table.
In a post-match promo, Hauser highlighted his fandom of wrestling. He called out Sami Callihan, who then agreed to face him at REVOLVER’s WrestleMania weekend event.
Hauser won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for his role in Blackbird. He name-dropped Cardona in his acceptance speech and promoted their match. Hauser made an appearance for AEW in 2023, and he made his in-ring debut at REVOLVER Unreal in November, where he beat Matthew Palmer.
