Nick Aldis Undergoes Surgery For Ruptured Bicep Tendon

Nick Aldis is recovering from surgery, and he commented on the situation.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis “was recently injured.” He is expected to undergo surgery on his arm, per multiple WWE sources. Johnson writes that some believed that Aldis may have suffered a torn bicep. Additional details are unclear at this time.

Update: Johnson subsequently wrote that, per WWE sources, Aldis underwent surgery on March 20, and he is not currently expected to miss any appearances for the company.

The SmackDown general manager later confirmed the news. In a tweet, he wrote that he had surgery for a ruptured bicep tendon. He noted that it was a freak accident, he was on the mend, and he would continue to fulfill his obligations.

Aldis made his WWE debut as the SmackDown General Manager in October 2023. He has regularly appeared on WWE programming ever since.
