Ezekiel Jackson’s Daughter Tried To Stab Cody Rhodes With A Plastic Knife After IC Title Win

Ezekiel Jackson‘s daughter tried to stab Cody Rhodes for beating her dad!

Cody beat Jackson for the Intercontinental Championship in 2011, before bringing back the old-school look of the title. This was a title change that did not go down well with Ezekiel Jackson’s daughter, who was upset when she met The American Nightmare backstage at Summerslam.

Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Ezekiel Jackson told the hilarious story of his daughter meeting Cody Rhodes. The former ECW Champion said:

“Freaking amazing. I met him when he was 22 in OVW and we knew it was there. It was the same with Drew [McIntyre], they just had to go and come back.”

“Funny story. I don’t think I’ve ever told this. Cody beat me for the title in Sacramento on Smackdown. Then, backstage at Summerslam, my daughter who was two or three at the time, tried to stab him with a plastic knife! He saw her last September. He looked at her and said ‘let me see your hands!’. She’s 15 now. He said ‘let me see your hands. Good, let me give you a huge now. You’re not gonna shank me!'”

Ezekiel Jackson Reflects On Being The Last ECW Champion

Speaking again with MuscleManMalcolm, Ezekiel Jackson reflected on becoming the last ECW Champion.

“I walked back, man, and sadly, they were ready to roll into NXT and that was it. I came back, I’m happy as heck. It was kind of like in passing. It was always, for me, I’m celebrating myself as a world champ. I’m sure they saw something because they started running major promos on Smackdown for the next couple of weeks that ‘he’s coming to Smackdown, he’s coming to Smackdown.’ So there was something clicking there, but it wasn’t like a big celebratory thing.

“I’ve seen the stuff in the past where somebody won a World Championship for the first time,” he explained. “But they went straight into the first promo for NXT, and it was kind of in passing. I wasn’t offended because I’m like ‘Dude. You saw something. Whatever’s next, I’m ready for it.’”
