Jade Cargill On Representation In WWE: It Shows Me Everything I’m Doing Is Worth It

Jade Cargill has been an inspiration since joining WWE.

The former AEW star debuted with the company at the 2024 Royal Rumble, appearing in the show’s titular match type.

She wrestled her second match in a six-woman tag match at WrestleMania 40. Cargill teamed with Naomi and Bianca Belair, getting the pin in a victory over Damage CTRL.

While speaking with Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, Jade Cargill was asked about how her impact on black wrestling fans made her feel. The former TBS Champion revealed that it means “everything” and it shows that what she is doing is worth it.

“It meant everything. It shows me that everything I’m doing is worth it, you know? You guys standing in line, like everybody coming to support us and just tell us, ‘Hey, like we didn’t have that representation as far as three dominant black women.’ You know, it feels great. It shows everything we’re doing is worth it.”

Jade Cargill Felt Phenomenal About Attention From WWE

Jade Cargill continued. She was asked about the attention she gained from being a free agent from her move to WWE from AEW. She claimed that it felt “phenomenal”, and she had to trust the process after coming from a smaller promotion.

“It made me feel phenomenal, you know, Paul and everybody. The big machine here at WWE is one of one, you know. And they told me, ‘Just trust the process. Like we got you. Like you put in the work, you keep your head down, and you keep the focus, you can do any and everything you want to do.’ And I trust the process. And to get that as someone who came from a small market, a smaller market, it was phenomenal to see. You know, I wasn’t expecting that at all. And just the embrace and the fan base just loving what I’m doing, you know, it gets no better than that.”
