Rhea Ripley shared an emotional reaction to Motionless in White’s WWE-inspired tribute on their new album.
WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley took to X/Twitter to react to Motionless in White’s post for their new album, Decades. The tracklist has a song titled “Fight Like Hell,” which has references to Ripley, as it features the band singing “This Is My Brutality,” and there are some other wrestling references like a ring bell.
“When the bell rings, will you bark or bite? I’m a landmine, step into my spotlight, hit you like a punchline. I’m puttin’ bodies in the seats like room full cap, watch you gettin’ bitch-slapped, callin’ for the rematch. And I suffer for my own entеrtainment. I love to feed your hatred, so tag in or tap out,” the lyrics read.
Rhea Ripley shared her reaction to the new song
Rhea Ripley reacted to the song, writing, “Guys… I’m not ok. My heart is about to explode! Fight Like Hell.”
The band’s lead vocalist, Chris “Motionless” Cerulli, then replied to Rhea Ripley’s post, saying the song is a tribute for her, “I don’t know how I haven’t seen this till now, but oh my god we love you so much Rhea!! Fight Like Hell is our tribute to you on behalf of everyone that has been given the gift of witnessing your brutality! No one deserves it like you do. Thank you for everything.”
Ripley responded, “You guys literally made and continue to make me cry.”
Rhea Ripley is a long-time fan of Motionless in White, and has based most of her presentation on Cerulli. The band played her theme song, “Demon In Your Dreams,” and even performed it live during her entrance at WWE WrestleMania 40. Fans are already speculating that “Fight Like Hell” could be Ripley’s new theme when she returns from her injury.
Rhea Ripley is currently out of action due to a torn meniscus. However, instead of stripping her of the WWE Women’s Championship, the promotion has decided to crown an interim champion in a five-way ladder match at SummerSlam next weekend. Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill have already qualified for the contest.
