A new report provides an update on when Giulia can be expected to report to the WWE Performance Center and appear on NXT.
Former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia appeared in the crowd at NXT Stand & Deliver. She also shared a picture with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H backstage. Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) previously reported that Giulia had agreed to join WWE.
The former STARDOM star is set to be part of Rossy Ogawa’s new Marigold promotion. In a new report, Brennan cites sources who note that Giulia is expected to work at least “a handful” of matches there. The hope is that she will report to the WWE Performance Center in late June or early July.

Brennan also reports that Giulia is planned to keep her current name in NXT. The report notes that the belief is that she will have her debut match at NXT Heatwave on July 7. Brennan writes that she is expected to challenge for one of the NXT Women’s Championships at the show.
