Matt Hardy is echoing the sentiments of a lot of wrestling fans when it comes to the Death Riders storyline in All Elite Wrestling.
On the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the TNA Wrestling star spoke about the ongoing Death Riders storyline in AEW and stated he believes the company needs a new champion soon, as the faction has almost run its course.
“I think AEW needs a new champion,” Matt Hardy said. “I think they need to have a fresh start in going in a new direction. So, yeah, I would be okay with Swerve winning the title. I just think they need to make a decision, and I think they need someone to win the title soon and have something in mind for what sort of story they want to tell around whoever it is, and have something to run with for a few months. With Hardy saying these comments prior to Dynasty, it will be very interesting to see what he has to say this week about AEW not pulling the trigger on a title change over the weekend.
