Drew McIntyre suffered an injury last night during his brawl with Damian Priest on WWE SmackDown.
It was announced last night that McIntyre and Priest’s match at WrestleMania 41 has been changed to a Sin City Street Fight. The two men tried to play up this announcement by having a ringside brawl on SmackDown. However, during the brawl, McIntyre suffered an injury.
Drew McIntyre took to his Instagram Stories to reveal that he busted his head open in what appears to be the same spot that needed staples following his Hell in a Cell match with CM Punk last year. McIntyre posted the following caption alongside the photo:
“Some old wounds never truly heal,” Drew McIntyre said in a post.

Despite this injury, it’s unlikely that McIntyre will miss his match with Priest later this month at WrestleMania 41.
