Becky Lynch delivers a shocking update as it pertains to her return to professional wrestling.
Last night, Becky Lynch appeared as a special guest monologist for the Ultimate Improv Show. While speaking on the stage, Lynch brought up the fact that it was WrestleMania season before revealing that she’s not wrestling anymore. The crowd gave an audible gasp of surprise while Lynch tried to temper expectations on her WWE future.
“It’s WrestleMania season, isn’t it now? Look, I’m not wrestling anymore,” Becky Lynch said. “Maybe one day, but not right now. Thank you very much. But my husband is!”
Before anyone panics, her husband, RAW Superstar Seth Rollins, spoke with WFAN earlier this year and confirmed that at that point, his wife wasn’t retired.
“Becky’s been back since the birth. I mean, she won the title, you know? She’s been doing great. She was awesome. She took a few months off, did some television and film projects, and now she’s gearing up to come back.” Seth Rollins said.
“I don’t know when that’s going to happen just yet, but she is active—yes, that I will say. She has not retired; she’s not mentioned anything about retirement. There are future plans for her in professional wrestling.”
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Becky Lynch’s WWE status as it becomes available.
