Ridge Holland Reacts To Claims He Should’ve Been Fired By WWE After Big E Injury

One of the saddest truths about professional wrestling is that accidents happen, and a wrestler’s whole career could come to an end due to the aforementioned accident. One such accident has seemingly put an end to the in-ring career of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Big E. The accident was caused by WWE Superstar Ridge Holland.

On March 11th of 2022, during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Big E and Kofi Kingston teamed up to wrestle the team of Ridge Holland and Sheamus. Midway through the match, Big E and Holland had been wrestling outside the ring. During the fight, Holland looked to hit a belly-to-belly suplex, but Big E unfortunately landed on his head. As a result, he broke his neck, and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has not returned to in-ring action since then.

Recently, Holland reacted to a fan claiming that WWE should fire him for ending Big E’s career. Holland called out the fan by saying that he can continue to blame Holland but by doing so it proves that Ridge Holland is living rent-free in the head of the fan.

“Ridgeroasts. Let’s see what the trolls are saying…..#reaction #trolls #IWC #ridgeholland #tara #lad,” Ridge Holland tweeted.

Big E doesn’t hold a grudge against Ridge Holland

At the time of the incident, Holland told Metro that he had to build up trust again with his colleagues. The accident was also a shot to his confidence. However, he wants to move forward and prove himself in the fans’ eyes.

Big E also said that he doesn’t hold a grudge against Holland, as he understands that accidents happen. He said Holland has apologized multiple times and doesn’t want his injury to be an “albatross” that follows Holland.

What are your thoughts on fans petitioning for Ridge Holland to be fired?
