Triple H says Chyna will get the WWE Hall of Fame induction she deserves when the time is right.
Chyna was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of DX in 2019, but fans still continue to ask when she will get a solo induction. Triple H addressed the latter during the WrestleMania 41 night two post-show press conference. After thanking him for mentioning Vince McMahon in his Hall of Fame speech, SportsKeeda’s Bill Apter asked Triple H if Chyna will ever be inducted alone, and will it be next year?
According to The Game, it’s going to happen, but it comes down to timing.
Chyna will (eventually) get a solo WWE Hall Of Fame induction
“Yeah. I don’t know about next year, but it’s definitely happening,” Triple H said. “There’s a lot of people, when you say Hall of Fame, there’s a lot of names that should be in that Hall of Fame and will be. You just can’t put them in all at once. I think there will be the right moment.
“As far as the first comment, none of us would be here [without Vince McMahon]. None of us, right? So, it’s pretty hard to not mention [him in my speech].
And as far as Joanie, or Chyna, her contributions to the business alone, when you see — I can see it in all of these [current] women when they get in there. We’re at the age where they all grew up idolizing her and I see in their work, I see it in their demeanor, in what they think works and doesn’t. In a lot of ways, it stems from that. She is in the Hall of Fame with DX, but she will be in the Hall of Fame by herself when the time is right, for sure.
Triple H reiterated that it’s all about timing, noting that Ivan Koloff’s induction this year enforces that point.
Chyna was with WWE from 1997 to 2001. She made history in many ways, including her two Intercontinental Championship wins. She was also the first woman to compete in the Royal Rumble match, and won the WWF Women’s Championship once. She passed away on April 20, 2016 at the age of 46.
