The Rock believes WWE‘s future is brighter than ever following WrestleMania 41 weekend.
TKO Board Director Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was a recent guest on The Pat McAfee Show. While discussing WrestleMania 41 weekend, The Rock put over the fact that the company discovered and created multiple big stars in Las Vegas. Putting over Jey Uso first and foremost before turning his attention to the newly crowned United States Champion, Jacob Fatu.
“I want to point out Jacob Fatu,” The Rock said. “What I love about Jacob is the last event I was there, I went backstage, and I gave him the biggest hug, man. And he had tears in his eyes, saying, ‘This saved my life’. So I think when you have that kind of performer who is pulling and digging into something and delivering his soul and passion to something that has saved his life, man, you’re flying at a different level.
“And fans could feel that, and fans love that. This is why the guy goes out there and he’s supposed to be the quote heel in the match, and they’re cheering the hell out of them, and they’re chanting his name. And that told me immediately, man, there’s a big future there with Jacob, and I can’t wait.”
The Rock believes Bron Breakker has “good heat”
The Rock also put over former Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker, who aligned himself with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman Monday night on RAW.
“Let’s talk about Bron Breakker, I love what he’s been doing lately,” The Rock said. “I think that he’s really shown out and shown up. I feel like you know what happens, and I went through this too as well. There’s this maturation process that happens when you come into the world of WWE, and if you got a little bit of heat to you, in a good way, good heat, and you got a little bit of potential to you, the company will see that.
“They’ll start putting you in positions where they’ll see how, not only how you react to those positions, but more importantly, how the fans react to it. So Bron’s been put in these positions where he has really risen to the occasion. I’m not surprised. He looks like a million dollars. He’s believable, he’s legitimate. And he comes from a hell of a bloodline in the Steiner family, which we know. So I was happy to see that last night, happy to see the way it went down.”
Rock also took a moment to put over “all of the women” who he believes stole a portion of WrestleMania weekend with their excellent performances.
