Zelina Vega Wins Women’s United States Championship On WWE SmackDown

Zelina Vega has officially picked up her first ever singles championship tonight, in a big win over Chelsea Green.

During tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Vega shocked the WWE Universe by beating Green for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. The match came down to a chaotic ending as both Piper Niven and Alba Fyre tried to get involved.

Late in the match, Niven tripped up Vega by the ropes, but unfortunately for Green’s friends, the referee saw it. This led to even more chaos, as an argument broke out between the ref, the group, and Zelina Vega.

The ref quickly ejected the pair, and as Vega was waving goodbye, Green took her chance to pounce. She sent Vega into the ropes, but Vega reversed it with a Code Red for a pin and win.

A stunned Niven and Fyre came running back down, but Vega escaped the ring with the belt. The Secret Hervice and Green could only watch as Zelina Vega celebrated with her first singles title.

What did you think of tonight’s win? Were you happy Vega walked out with the win? How long do you think she’ll reign as WWE Women’s United States Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
