AEW Star Confirms Their Contract Has Expired, Teases Next Move

Another AEW contract has recently expired.

The free agency landscape in professional wrestling is ever-changing. With multiple promotions looking to sign the top talent available, there are some contracts from every company that don’t get renewed.

It was reported earlier today by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) that EJ Nduka‘s contract with All Elite Wrestling has expired.

Nduka was signed to AEW in 2023 after departing Major League Wrestling. Beyond one appearance on Collision, where he appeared as an unnamed member of Swerve Strickland’s entourage during a weigh-in segment, Nduka was mainly utilized on the Ring of Honor brand. He was most recently part of a tag team with Lee Johnson in Ring of Honor.

EJ Nduka took to social media this afternoon to confirm his AEW contract expiring, tweeting out:

“I was never meant to sit. Benches were made for the unsure. I’ve heard the call now it’s time to move. If you think this guy was made to ride the bench you need to call the 1800 number cause you suffer from mesothelioma you pencil neck reject,” EJ Nduka said in a post.

In another post, Nduka teased his next move in the world of pro wrestling, tweeting out:

“WHO?!??!? anyway, yall tried this new Dragonfruit lemonade at chick fil a?! FIRE!!! Ohhhh and what’s better than 3 ropes?! *4 emoji* *Globe emoji* *Face with sunglasses emoji,*” EJ Nduka said in a post.

Fourth Rope is a wrestling company owned by Westside Gunn. They have run multiple events over the last year.
