Dustin Rhodes just achieved a tremendous milestone in his life.
Saturday night on Collision, Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara defeated Lio Rush and Action Andretti to become the number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. A few days later, Rhodes achieved an even greater feat outside the ring.
The All Elite Wrestling star took to social media this afternoon to announce that he’s hit the incredible milestone of 17 years of sobriety, tweeting out:
“Huge day for me! Thank you God for saving me from drugs and alcohol. Happy 17th birthday to me! #CleanIsCool #17yrs #KeepSteppin,” Dustin Rhodes said in a post.
The Sons of Texas, Rhodes and Guevara will challenge The Hurt Syndicate this weekend at Double or Nothing for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
WrestleZone will have live coverage of AEW Double or Nothing later this month.
