The Hardy Boyz Once Used Limp Bizkit’s ‘Nookie’ As Their Entrance Music (Video)

Former WWE stars and Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz once entered to Limp Bizkit’s “Nookie” in OVW.

A rare clip recently surfaced online, showing The Hardy Boyz making their entrance at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) to the theme of Limp Bizkit’s 1999 hit, “Nookie.” Reacting to the video, Matt Hardy took to Twitter/X and explained the backstory behind the entrance music choice.

Matt Hardy mentioned OVW didn’t have access to their signature theme, “Loaded,” at the time. He said, “If memory serves me correctly, OVW didn’t have our music, LOADED, so they asked whet we wanted to use. We asked for any hard rock music & this is what we got. Pretty sure we had a Ladder Match this night also.”

Matt Hardy cautions young wrestlers about burning bridges with other promotions

On The Extreme Life With Matt Hardy podcast, he emphasized that wrestlers should focus on their own work and keep a positive attitude, rather than criticizing other promotions publicly. “One thing I would say is learn how to not be overly opinionated when you’re talking about other promotions. Learn how to shut the hell up and just worry about what you’re doing, speak positively, and stop talking negatively about other places.”

The TNA star warned the young wrestlers that being overly opinionated could hurt future opportunities, especially if a wrestler ends up released. “Because if you do get to that point where you do get released and you’re gone, then you’ve kind of screwed yourself up from going somewhere else. Pro wrestling is a small world in the big scheme of things… don’t burn bridges before you have an opportunity to go somewhere else just in case.”

He also encouraged wrestlers to be smart about their use of social media instead of engaging in online negativity. “If you’re a wrestler, if you’re a performer, be better than that, be smarter than that, and learn how to just talk about the things that are positive, the things that you like, and let your grievances go. The best thing you can possibly do is if there’s something you don’t like, just shut the hell up about it.”
