Our TNA iMPACT results for tonight include Moose versus Eric Young for the X-Division Championship, Joe Hendry’s address in the aftermath of his shocking loss to Trick Williams at WWE Battleground, Tasha Steelz versus Indi Hartwell, and Rosemary versus Xia Brookside in a Monster’s Ball match.

TNA iMPACT Results
This week’s episode of TNA kicks off with a recap of Trick Williams versus Mike Santana from last week’s NXT, as well as the TNA International Championship match between Steve Maclin and Matt Cardona from iMPACT Wrestling’s main event last Thursday.
Tasha Steelz vs. Indi Hartwell
- The finish of the match saw Indi Hartwell deliver a big boot and Hurt Donut combo for the win.
Winner: Indi Hartwell
After the match, Mustafa Ali comes down to the ring. Ali rag dolls the referee. Tasha tries to talk some sense but Ali shoves her as well. Jason Hotch gets in Ali’s face over what he did to Tasha . Tasha gets up and leaves with Ali and Skylar to the back as Hotch wrestles with his thoughts.
Grade: C+
A decent match with post-match shenanigans overshadowing in-ring action. TNA’s clearly setting up Hotch for his solo run. Indi’s Hartwell over a former Knockouts World Champion puts her in the running for a title shot somewhere down the line.
We get a Mance Warner and Steph De Lander video package hyping up Warner’s upcoming title match against Steve Maclin at Against All Odds.
‘Actions have consequences’
Cameras take us to the backstage where Skylar comes to check on Tasha. A mysterious caller phones Tasha to talk about her post-match events. Skylar grabs the phone and says he’ll take to Ali. Hotch shows up and is confronted by Ali, who says actions have consequences before telling Hotch he’s got himself a match with Ali at Against All Odds.
Moose (c) (with JDC) vs. Eric Young (with Northern Armory) – TNA X Division Championship match
- The finish of the match saw Moose hit Eric Young with a low blow followed by a spear for the win.
Winner and still TNA X Division Champion: Moose
A disgruntled Young attacks a fan after the match. EY tells his goons to do the same and the all jump on the helpless plant. Security arrives and stops Young and Northern Armory from causing any more damage to the person.
Grade: B+
A bit slow, with Young’s “O Canada” antics taking up a fair amount of air time in the early goings, but still enjoyable X Division title defense. Moose continues to move closer to cementing himself as the longest reigning X Division Champion in TNA iMPACT history. As for Eric Young, he is a full-blown heel once again.
Joe Hendry promo
Joe Hendry is up next but he isn’t live inside the ring. Hendry speaks via video. He talks about his unsettling loss to Trick Williams for the TNA World Champion. Hendry said he was supposed to be the team captain but he dropped the ball. He let his fans and peers down. Hendry says Williams doesn’t work for TNA and he doesn’t care about the promotion or its fans.
Hendry puts over Elijah ahead his TNA World Championship match against Trick Williams at Against All Odds. He apologizes for getting carried away at WWE Battleground. Frankie Kazarian interrupts and mocks Hendry for losing the title to Trick Williams. Kazarian says he’s a better wrestler than Hendry and he’ll be a better champion that Joe after he beats the former TNA World Champion at Against All Odds.
Harley Hudson and Myla Grace vs. Heather and M by Elegance
- The finish of the match saw Heather plant Myla Grace with a Spanish Fly followed by a moonsault from M for the win.
Winners: Heather and M by Elegance
Grade: B-
A solid match with a surprise win for the Elegance brand. Hudson and Grace jelled well together as a tag team but Heather and M used The Connoisseur to cause a distraction and pick up the win. This writer is looking forward to how TNA books Heather and Myla in the days to come.
Injury update on Tessa Blanchard
We learn via TNA Injury Report that Tessa Blanchard is still out of action due to a TMJ injury she suffered during her match against Arianna Grace at TNA Under Siege. Tessa will return to action once she get doctors approval. We also learn that Matt Cardona was banged up following his match against Steve Maclin last week but won’t miss any action.
Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside – Monster’s Ball match
- The finish of the match saw Xia Brookside plant Rosemary with Brooksy Bomb through stacked chairs for the win.
Winner: Xia Brookside
Grade: A-
Match of the night so far. Rosemary and Xia definitely kept the legacy of this iconic TNA match alive. The use of trash can to block the mist was creative. Match got a bit slow at times but the two opponents managed to retain fan interest through their spots. The door spot has become a repetitive spot at this point but still manages to pop the writer.
Who wants to sing with Elijah
Elijah is back with his guitar and a song for Trick Williams. The Drifter hypes up their upcoming TNA World Championship match at Against All Odds. Elias says Trick may have the title but he has no heart. He doesn’t have the iMPACT crowd behind him.. He promises to bring the title back to the promotion come June 6.
We get a video package for Léi Yǐng Lee showing her in preparation for her upcoming match against Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Against All Odds.
Santino Marella makes an announcement
Santino Marella comes down the ring. He talks about his upcoming match against Robert Stone at Against All Odds. Marella lays down the stipulation. He gets emotional talking about his life on the road. Marella says he missed a lot of Arianna’s life because he was on the road. Marella says he’s only stepping down as Director of Authority for one day because he’s going to be reinstated on June 7.
Robert Stone and Victoria Crawford interrupt Marella and tears into him. Stone calls Marella a loser and vows to permanently put him out of TNA at Against All Odds. Marella gives a shout out to his two kids who are watching their dad from the crowd. He says the only way Stone will get rid of him and turn TNA into a soulless corporate entity is if he walks over his dead body at Against All Odds.

A solid match to cap off the go-home TNA iMPACT for Against All Odds. Apparently, miscommunication caused Ryan Nemeth to land on his head during what looked like a modified powerslam from Santana. Ryan got the wind knocked out of him for a few seconds but, thankfully, got back for the final spot of the match.
