El Desperado will be making his first appearance for TJPW at the promotion’s upcoming Summer Sun Princess show this July.
TJPW previously revealed that DDT’s Chris Brookes will team up with Emi Sakura of Choco Pro against two mystery opponents at Summer Sun Princess. On June 29th, TJPW then revealed that the duo would go up against their very own Maki Itoh and NJPW‘s El Desperado.
This match will be El Desperado’s debut for the TJPW promotion. However, working with joshis is not new to him. He has been a consistent part of the NJPW and STARDOM Historic X-Over shows in which he has paired up with Starlight Kid in tag team action. He has also faced Chris Brookes in DDT for Wrestle Peter Pan 2024 in a No Disqualification match wherein he emerged victorious.
TJPW Summer Sun Princess, one of TJPW’s biggest annual shows, takes place on July 21st at the Tokyo Ota-City General Gymnasium. Interested viewers may catch a live stream of the show on Wrestle Universe. A one week free trial is also available for new subscribers.
