TNA Star Has Spent Five Figures On Their Work Visa To Stay In The US

A TNA Wrestling star has revealed just how much it costs to maintain a work visa when a major wrestling company isn’t covering it for you.

TNA Wrestling’s Steph De Lander was a recent guest on Wrestling Life with Ben Veal. When discussing her WWE release, De Lander revealed that she’s spent somewhere between 25 and 30 thousand dollars over the past four years to maintain her work visa to stay in the United States.

“I’ve spent probably at least 25 to 30 grand on my visa in the last four years, just so I can live here,” Steph De Lander revealed. “And I don’t have a green card. I’m not a citizen. I’m still on, like, the base level… an athlete in America visa.

“You are truly up a creek without a paddle when you get released as a foreigner. And you completely have to rely on other people to help you with that, because it’s all word of mouth. It’s all you know someone who knows someone who can help you with this. And that is the only reason why I’m still able to be in the country.

“I will never be able to repay back Chelsea and Matt for everything that they’ve done for me. Because, yeah, they really come through.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]

As of this writing, it’s unknown if TNA covers visas for its roster like WWE and All Elite Wrestling do.
