TNA suspended Tessa Blanchard for her actions at Slammiversary.
At TNA Slammiversary, Tessa Blanchard went one-on-one with former WWE star Indi Hartwell. Hartwell won the match after hitting her signature move, Hurts Donut, and following up with a pin to secure her win.
Following the match, Gia Miller interviewed Indi Hartwell at ringside and asked what she planned to do next. Hartwell said she wanted a shot at the Knockouts Championship. Suddenly, Tessa Blanchard attacked Hartwell.
While Gia Miller tried to stop Blanchard. However, in a shocking moment, Blanchard also slapped Gia Miller and shoved her face into the steel steps by punching her in the back of the head.
As drama unfolded, Victoria Crawford was seen holding back Indi Hartwell, and security finally showed up to stop the chaos. Backstage, the Director of Authority, Santino Marella, stormed up to Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford, clearly angry. Blanchard says they both deserved it and called Gia Miller a “stooge.”
Santino Marella warned her there would be consequences and had security drag her away. Later in the show, just before the main event, Santino Marella came out and announced that TNA had suspended Blanchard indefinitely for attacking Gia Miller. However, he didn’t say how long the suspension would last in the storyline.
