MJF Reacts To Being Called A Coward

Former AEW World Champion MJF fired back after Hangman Page labeled him a coward.

On AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page defended his AEW World Title against Jon Moxley. In an backstage interview, Page was interrupted by MJF. He confronted Page for refusing to give him a title shot unless he cashes in his contract. He reminded Page that he called him a gutless coward last week.

Hangman Page fired back and said MJF would have to either earn a title shot or use his contract. Page added that there are others more deserving than him, like Mark Briscoe. He referred to Page and Briscoe as, “Just a bunch of hicks from the sticks sticking together.”

Hangman Page reminded him that the Hurt Syndicate wasn’t there and warned MJF, he might just beat him up right there. Earlier in the night, Shelton Benjamin told MJF he was out of the Hurt Business. Benjamin gave him a thumbs down, signaling his removal, after Bobby Lashley and MVP already turned on him last week.

In the main event, Mark Briscoe defeated Ricochet. After the match, MJF appeared on the titantron and told Briscoe they would have a singles match next week. Right after that, MJF attacked Briscoe from behind, beating him down.

He then grabbed a mic and responded to Hangman Page’s coward comment. As Page ran out to help Briscoe, MJF escaped the ring. Following the show, the Salt of the Earth has once again called out Page for his words. He posted on X, formerly Twitter, writing, “I’m not a coward. I’m a winner.”
